Welcome to the Roxbury Housing Trust

The mission of the Roxbury Housing Trust is to promote, support and secure permanently affordable housing in the Town of Roxbury, CT.

About RHT: RHT was formed and incorporated in October 2022 as a direct outcome of the Town of Roxbury’s Housing Affordability Plan (adopted August 2022) and Plan of Conservation & Development (2020). RHT is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization.

To carry out its mission, RHT will:

• Develop, construct, sponsor, or own, as a nonprofit housing organization, safe and adequate housing facilities solely and exclusively for income-eligible families and persons.
• Utilize public and private programs, including financing opportunities, to develop, build, manage, and own or lease affordable housing units.
• Pursue housing that comports with Roxbury’s landscape and natural features
