Roxbury Housing Trust Open House
The Roxbury Housing Trust is inviting Roxbury residents to an Open House at the Minor Memorial Library on Sunday, October 15 at 3 pm to learn about our goal of creating homes for a vibrant Roxbury. We will be showing the short film Housing Our Neighbors: Creating Affordable Housing in Rural Connecticut, produced by the Falls Village Community Development Corp, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session with Jocelyn Ayer, Director of the Litchfield County Center for Housing Opportunity.

Annual Litchfield County Housing Summit Kick-off Event will take place this year at the Warren Town Hall on Monday, October 23rd from 5pm-7pm.
Affordable Housing Event in Salisbury, CT
An affordable housing event will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 in Salisbury. “Housing + Jobs + Conservation: A Roadmap for Action”, presented by the Salisbury Forum and Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, and hosted at the Salisbury School, this community event will address the challenges posed by the rapidly decreasing affordability of housing, and how the issue intersects with economic and conservation imperatives with a focus on collaboration between land trusts, conservation commissions and housing trusts. Reception 5-6 PM, Program 6:30 to 8 PM.
Our Home, Our Future
“Our Home, Our Future” is a compilation of articles written about affordable housing in
Salisbury. The articles were written by Mary Oppenheimer and published in the Lakeville Journal between 2015 and 2023. There are many excellent 1 or 2 page pieces, especially in the final section titled Reflections.
